About the role

We are looking for an IT Manager to join its growing team. This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth running of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing innovative technological solutions. This position demands strong leadership, a keen understanding of ICT systems, and a proactive approach to system management and security.

The role will primarily focus on:

• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, system management tools, network architectures, and hardware.
• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability.
• Planning and enhancing technology infrastructure projects.
• Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Developing and maintaining ICT policies, standards, and procedures for IT systems installation, configuration, operations, development, and data management.
• Identifying opportunities for technological innovation and improvement, optimizing processes, and increasing automation.
• Participating in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Managing the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software resources.
• Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests, and documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
• Maintaining and managing ICT inventory.
• Ensuring the implementation of security policies at the infrastructure level.
• Ensuring infrastructure meets the requirements of the global network and regulators in matters of compliance and organizational quality standards.
• Working with executive management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Staying abreast of evolving technologies and maintaining updated documentation about systems' configurations where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree Holder in IT or equivalent certification
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a managerial role.
• Relevant IT Certifications (Microsoft Azure, VMWare, other related system vendors) will be an advantage
• Familiarity with relevant compliance regulations and frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 will be considered an asset.
