Edward Bugeja
Executive summary
Edward Bugeja joined the firm during March 2019 as an Auditor and he was later promoted as an Audit Senior Manager in 2023 and subsequently as an Audit Associate Director in 2025. With BDO Malta, he has been involved in audits of various types of entities ranging from small local entities to large listed entities including various financial services firms and also banks. Edward had other accounting and audit experience prior to joining BDO. Edward directs the engagement team in the provision of audit services.

Edward is a certified public accountant and registered auditor in Malta and is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Edward also holds a Diploma in IFRS (DipIFR) and a Diploma in Taxation at the Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT).
